Description
Single use packages for storing medicine in easy to take doses which make use of smart computer features to remind you when to take them. These usually require someone to load each compartment with medicine that can then be opened by the user when a dosage is needed.
How to use
Pharmacy staff package and prepare the smart blister pack before delivery, along with a reminder device if available. The reminder device will alert when a dose is due, with visual and/or audio cues.
When a compartment is opened on the blister pack, sensors in the pack track and send information on what was opened and when.
Pharmacy staff will be able to review information and alert an individual or their care team if a medication dose is missed, as well as review trends in the recorded information that may help plan medication and dosages more effectively.
